About The Board The Texas Payroll Conference (TPC) is a "working board" consisting of twelve regular members and four advisors. Board membership requires a 4-year commitment, three years as a regular, active and voting board member and the fourth year as an Advisor to the current board. The Board service year begins after each conference has concluded.
Board members meet once a month - usually on Saturday - at different locations within the state with travel expenses paid by TPC. Advisors are expected to attend at least two meetings during the year, including the annual 2-day meeting, but may attend any meeting at their own expense.
TPC Board membership involves a lot of hard work and can require several hours each month to take care of Board business. There are also many benefits, including free conference registration, free travel, developing leadership skills and making new friends.
