Tommy Windsor, CPP–2009 Texas Payroll Professional of the Year
Involved. Dedicated. Willing. Three words that describe this year’s Texas Payroll Professional. An individual that has continually stepped up to assist whenever asked. This individual has mentored team members in the office and out of state. They have assisted with the Education Committee of their local chapter and have watched students gain their FPC or CPP designation and then become teachers for the Chapter. They have held multiple Board positions in their local chapter and sat on the board of the Texas Payroll Conference. They have written training guides for their office and had the honor of presenting the material to their field offices. This person is always willing to help; always willing to sit down and spend however long it takes to educate someone on the complexities of payroll.
Our Winner says that they are lucky to have a job in a field that makes them feel vibrant and alive. They feel blessed that they can contribute to the profession by helping educate others, sharing their knowledge and igniting that same passion and drive for excellence. I know that this person has worked hard to stay current and connected and that both his employer and the Dallas chapter are lucky to have someone so willing to give back. Please join me in congratulating Tommy Windsor, CPP our 2009 Texas Payroll Professional of the Year.
