2012 Texas Payroll Professional of the Year The Texas Payroll Conference strives to promote the payroll profession and to provide opportunities for payroll professionals to not only embrace the payroll community through leadership, education, networking support, state recognition but to assist in their own personal growth and success. Each year through our outreach program with our state chapters, we seek nominations for the highest level of recognition for the Texas Payroll Professional of the Year. As we prepare each year to identify those individuals, we seek out the one person whose contributions to the profession and its programs stand out as an outstanding example of the professionalism that this industry represents. The key to success in the payroll profession is to be open, honest, direct, willing to listen and accountable at all times, and to work as a team towards solutions but always be able to lead others by setting the exemplary example. The Texas Payroll Conference Board of Directors is honored each year to begin the nomination process. We look forward to the many nominees’ and their contributions they have made. Our nomination period is open from February 1st through June 30th each year. The nominees are reviewed by independent parties outside our state to ensure that there is no bias in the selection process. We welcome your nominations and ask that you return your completed packets no later than June 30, 2012. Please email completed nomination applications to tpcpresidentelect@txpayrollconference.org.
